We had an enquiry a few weeks ago from Denise who was interested in a gift that we had never created before. Yes, in all the engraved mirror gifts we have produced in the last 19 years, we’d never been asked to create a gift from the bride and groom to their parents. What a beautiful idea it is!
Denise had already prepared a very appropriate verse and wanted to include a family photo from her wedding day, so we were delighted to not only create this gift for Denise, but also to include it in our online catalogue.

Above is a design we created for Mike who contacted us with an idea he had for an Irish-themed gift for his girlfriend’s birthday. He wanted to centre the design around the traditional Claddagh Ring, and an engraved mirror was a good idea of combining his heartfelt message to his girl. We explored a few possibilities before design ‘C’ was selected as the winner! We think the celtic border, font and shamrocks compliment the Claddagh Ring engraving perfectly…..

A few weeks ago, Fiona emailed us to ask about a unique idea for an engraved mirror she wanted to order. She thought of a design centred around the first footprints made by her little girl. Expanding on this lovely idea, we went a little further and created these two gifts. Both gifts contain the computerised shape of those unique foot prints, with the large one designed for a free space on the nursery wall. Adding a photo of your child taken around the same time as the footprints were made makes this a truly one-off piece that will hang in the family home for many years to come!

Wedding Gift Options For Sinead
Sinead contacted us about creating a wedding gift for her friends. With a celtic design being important, we were in a position to offer a mixture of our existing designs and some of our new ones which we hadn’t uploaded to the website yet. With each of these engraved mirror designs perfect to mark the bride and groom’s big day, we like to think Sinead was spoiled for choice. Whichever gift was chosen, the fact that it would be made in Ireland meant delivery before the wedding day was assured. Which etched design did Sinead choose?…. hmmmm……

Above are a few photos of one of our larger wedding gift engraved mirrors! The size of the photo to be added is 10″ x 8″, and this is done very easily when the photo of the wedding day becomes available, just like any photo frame you can buy. Our solid black wooden frame provides the idea contrast to the silver colour of the engraving, producing a stunningly beautiful and classic finish to this wedding gift.

Made in Ireland , unique and personalised , an engraved mirror is an ideal retirement gift !
Above are two retirement gifts we created for Shane, who contacted us enquiring about retirement gifts for two school teachers. As you can see, we have included the school crest in the design, the details of the recipients (one in English, the other as Gaeilge) and an engraving of the school building at the bottom of the design!
